KHUAJND, October 2, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Two special cardiac teams have been set up at the Khujand medical emergency service.
Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, the medical emergency service head physician Irkom Sanginov said they now could provide more efficient medical assistance to people suffering from cardiovascular diseases. According to him, the cardiac teams have been set up with support from the Regional Cardiology Center.
The teams are provided with all necessary equipment, including electrocardiogram device, defibrillators, and breathers. “In the near future, they will receive the up-to-date electrocardiogram devices,” the head physician said.
