DUSHANBE, October 7, 2009, Asia-Plus -- A new electrical substation has been introduced into operation in the Tursunzoda district, some 60 kilometers west of Dushanbe.
Nozirjon Yodgori, a spokesman for Barqi Tojik power holding, said that the new substation with capacity of 125,000 KVA would replace the old one that had capacity of 32,000 KVA.
According to him, the new substation will allow improving electricity transmission and distribution in the district.
New powerful substations will be introduced into operation in Dushanbe and Hissar, Isfara, Yovon and Roudaki district in the near future as well, the spokesman said.
