KHUJNAD, October 9, 2009, Asia-Plus -- As of October 1, 2009, Sughd electricity debts amounted to 137.5 million somoni, the Sughd prosecutor Khairullo Saidov remarked at a news conference in Khujand on October 8.
According to him, electricity debts of enterprises and organizations amount to 115.8 million somoni, including a 94.3 million somoni debt of the local water economy directorate. Electricity debts of residential customers amount to 21.7 million somoni.
The natural-gas debts in the province amount to 33.2 million somoni, including a 26 million somoni debt of the public, the prosecutor said.
