KHUJAND, October 10 2009, Asia-Plus -- A young woman in Sughd province has attempted to kill her three children and herself following divorce, according to the Sughd police directorate.
“On October 8, the 25 year-old woman from the Bobojonghafurov district Umeda H. attempted to kill her three children and herself after divorce,” said the source, “She gave her 6-year-old son and two daughters aged three and four years many various tablets and took them herself. They were taken to hospital # 1 with sings of acute poisoning; they are currently under care of doctors.”
He added that the Khujand prosecutor’s office had launched investigation to probe into the incident
