DUSHANBE, October 13, 2009, Asia-Plus  - Muhiddin Kabiri, the leader of the Islamic Revival Party (IRPT), is currently in Europe at the invitation of representatives from Oxford and Exeter Universities in the United Kingdom, Hikmatullo Sayfullozoda, a spokesman for the IRPT, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

According to him, from October 10 to October 16, Mr. Kabiri is reading lectures at these universities on the situation in Tajikistan and activities of the IRPT, which is the only Islamic party in CIS Central Asia.

On October 17, Kabiri will visit Moscow to hold meetings with Tajik labor migrants working there.

“On October 18-24, the IRPT leader will visit Brussels to deliver a statement in the European Parliament and hold talks with senior representatives from the European Parliament, the European Council ad the European Commission,” Mr. Sayfullozoda said.
