DUSHANBE, October 14, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Elaboration of the plan for redevelopment of the central part of the city of Khujand, the capital of Sughd province has been completed and the plan will be submitted for consideration to the government within the next few days, the head of the Agency for Construction and Architecture (Agency) Abduvali Komilov told reporters in Dushanbe on October 13.
He added that work on elaboration of municipal redevelopment plans for the city of Khorog as well as administrative centers of Shugnan, Tojikobod and Jirgatol districts is also nearing completion.
“This year, the government has considered and approved the municipal redevelopment plans for the cities of Kulob and Vahdat as well as Baljuvon, Hissar, Darabnd and Shahrinav districts,” Komilov said.
