DUSHANBE, October 23, 2009, Asia-Plus - Tajik Minister of Justice Bakhtiyor Khudoyorov joined his counterparts from the CIS states at the 4th session of the CIS council of ministers of justice that opened in Kyrgyzstan today.
According to the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), ways of jointly countering corruption are a major topic of the meeting.
The ministers are discussing issues related to corruption prevention regulation measures within the CIS area, ways of harmonizing anticorruption laws as well as exchange of appropriate legal information.
The meeting is expected to end with signing of an agreement on cooperation between the CIS ministries of justice.
The same day, the 14th session of the council of ministers of justice at the Integration Committee of the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) is also being held in Kyrgyzstan, the source said.
