DUSHANBE, October 27, 2009, Asia-Plus -- On Monday October 26, President Emomali Rahmon had telephone conversation with his Pakistani counterpart, President Asif Ali Zardari, according to presidential press service.
The two considered a broad range of issues related to bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan as well as the process of implementation of regional projects with participation of a number of neighboring countries. Rahmon and Zardari also discussed a number of regional and international issues being of mutual interest.
The same day, Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev. They discussed the state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan as well as a number of regional and international issues, the press service said.
