DUSHANBE, October 27, 2009, Asia-Plus -- On October 23, Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) ad the Chamber of Commerce of Iran’s Sistan-Beluchistan Province signed a protocol of intent on cooperation, according to the CCI press service.
The protocol was inked by Sharif Said, Head of Tajikistan’s CCI, and Mohammad Ali Nishati, Deputy Head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Iran’s Sistan-Beluchistan Province.
The document provides for expansion of trade and economic cooperation, exchange of commercial information and business missions as well as holding of joint events the press service said.
We will recall that Iranian delegation, led by Hamid Ali Mobaraki, vice-governor of Iran’s Sistan-Beluchistan province, and Mohammad Nishati, arrived in Dushanbe on October 16. The purpose of the visit was for the Iranian delegation to establish cooperation with Tajik enterprises, seek business partners for investment in joint projects and launch of joint ventures.
The same day, members of the Iranian delegation met with a number of Tajik entrepreneurs. Tajik side at the meeting was represented by top managers of the following enterprises: Sultoni Kabir; Ghalla; Rukhom; Tojikcement; Zioyratsho Corp; Dushanbetext; Khurokvori; Vakhsh HPPs Cascade; and Kulob diary factory.
