DUSHANBE, October 28, 2009, Asia-Plus -- This year, limited liability company, Gazpromneft-Tajikistan, which is subsidiary of Russia’s state-controlled gas company, Gazporm, has invested 20 million U.S. dollars in construction of 19 refueling stations and three tank farms (petroleum storage depots) in Tajikistan, Russia’s Trade Representative to Tajikistan, Aleksandr Yakovlev, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.
According to him, the most advanced technologies have been used for construction of those facilities.
In all, Gazpromneft-Tajikistan intends to construct 25 refueling stations and four petroleum storage depots in Tajikistan through investing 35.6 million U.S. dollars in this project.
The company now rents four petroleum storage depots in Tajikistan for realization of products of the Omsk oil refinery.
