DUSHANBE, October 29, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Open joint-stock company (OJSC) Agroinvestbonk has received confirmation from Visa International Service Association (Visa Inc) about certification of its processing center (In house).

Ikhtiyor Rahimov, the head of the Agroinvestbonk payment technologies development department, told Asia-Plus Thursday afternoon that the bank received the confirmation on October 28 and they transferred credit card servicing to that processing center the same and all Agroinvestbonk’s automatic teller machines (ATM) and terminals “will be connected for servicing to In house within the next few days.”

“Introduction of the processing center into operation will allow Agroinvestbonk entering higher level of client servicing and raising functionality of credit cards and ATMs,” said Rahimov, “Besides, using its own processing center Agroinvestbonk has implemented the project on issuing local credit cards, Korti Avvalini Dokhili (KAD).”

According to him, KADs will be serviced at all terminals of Agroinvestbonk as well as terminals of closed joint-stock company (CJSC) Bonki Rushdi Tojikiston (Tajikistan Development Bank), with which Agroinvestbonk has signed a partnership agreement on issuing the local credit cards.
