KHUJAND, November 17, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Teachers at the Khujand-based Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics have transferred their two-day’s wages, totaling 20,000 somoni (TJS), to help construction of the Roghun hydroelectric power plant (HPP) – one of the biggest hydroelectricity projects in Tajikistan.
According to the University’s press service, teaching staff have seconded president’s proposal on making contribution to construction of the Roghun HPP, which is of nationwide significance.
