DUSHANBE, November 21, 2009, Asia-Plus -- The next seventh session of the Tajik-Kazakh commission for economic cooperation is scheduled to take part in Astana, Kazakhstan from December 8-9, according to the source at the State Committee for Investments and State-owed Property Management (GosKomInvest).
This issue was discussed at a meeting of the GosKomInvest head Davlatali Saidov with Kazakh Ambassador to Tajikistan Abutalip Akhmetov here last Thursday (November 19).
In the course of the talks, the two also discussed state and prospects of further expansion of economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan. Saidov and Akhmetov, in particular, considered issues related to cooperation between the two countries in financing joint projects in sectors like energy, industry, transport and communications, education, etc.
