DUSHANBE, November 24, 2009, Asia-Plus -- The 34-year-old Tajik national, S. Qoziyev, who is suspected of having been involved in terrorism as well as organization of and participation in criminal grouping, has been detained in Moscow, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
“Mr. Qoziyev has been internationally wanted since March 2009 and he was detained in Moscow on November 22,” said the source, “Two passports and temporary registration certificate were confiscated from him.”
Tajik and Russian law enforcement authorities are currently considering the issue of extraditing S. Qoziyev to Tajik authorities, the source added.
