DUSHANBE, November 25, 2009, Asia-Plus -- The public association, INDEM, has conducted a survey formally titled “Approval Ratings for Officials of Tajikistan - 2009” and the survey outcomes will be published in the near future, the INDEM head Saymuddin Doustov told reporters in Dushanbe on November 23.
According to him, the main objective of the poll is in revealing the most popular members of the government, representatives of president’s office, regional, city and district administrators as well as heads of large enterprises.
The survey was conducted in two stages, in August and September this year, and the list includes 68 city and district chairmen as well as 70 republican-level officials, Doustov said.
“10 groups numbering 24 experts (political scientists, independent experts, newspaper editors, public figures, representatives of political parties, and NGO heads) each were interviewed,” Doustov said, noting that the survey outcomes will be published in the Dushanbe weekly Nigoh within the next few weeks.
