DUSHANBE, November 26, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Members of the Islamic Revival Party of Tajikistan (IRPT) intend to purchase shares in the Roghun hydroelectric power plant (HPP),
According to the IRPT board, such a decision was adopted at a meeting of heads of the party’s departments and primary organizations.
“The future of the country depends on the Roghun plant and we decide to purchase shares in Roghun because we not only pursue political ends, we also care for wellbeing of the people and development of Tajikistan,” the source said.
