DUSHANBE, December 11, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Tajik national air carrier, Tajik Air, has temporarily suspended its flight operations to and from Turkey’s city of Istanbul.
Ms. Nazira Davlatova, a spokeswoman for Tajik Air, said that the flight had been suspended because of decrease in passenger traffic on this air route. “As soon as the passenger traffic on this air route increases will resume the flight operations to Istanbul.”
We will recall that Tajik-Air operated the once-weekly service from Dushanbe to Istanbul on Tuesdays.
