DUSHANBE, December 25, 2009, Asia-Plus - Chairman of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Sharif Said yesterday met here with a delegation of the Afghan province of Heart, led by Haji Mohammad Qader, the head of the Herat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, according to the CCI press service.
Holding of an exhibition of Herat’s economic achievements in Dushanbe in 2010 was a major topic of the meeting.
During the meeting, Said noted that Tajikistan attached significance to expansion of economic and trade cooperation with Afghanistan and favorable business climate created in Tajikistan promoted attraction of foreign investments.
Members of the Afghan delegation expressed gratitude to Sharif Said for assistance for opening of representative office of the Herat Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Dushanbe that has simplified many issues, the CCI press service said.
The Afghan delegation members included Haji Bashir Ahmad, the director of the Hamkar Group Company, Jalil Ahmad Hamkar, the deputy director of this company, Valid Sahim, director of the limited liability company Sahim, and Shah Valikhan Qaderi, the general manager of Qaderi Worldwide Trading & Shipping.
