KULOB, January 4, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Director of the Shabakahoi Mintaqai Kulob (Kulob regional electricity distributor), Mirzo Ismoilov intends to buy shares in the Roghun hydroelectricity power plant (HPP) for 5,000 somoni.
“I do not have such funds, however, I will sell my car in order to buy the shares,” Ismoilov told Asia-Plus today, adding that all employees of the Kulob electricity distributor have decided to buy shares in Roghun.
According to him, the Kulob electricity distributor employees have already given up their one-day’s wages, totaling 10,464 somoni, to help Roghun’s construction.
761 people now work with the Shabakahoi Mintaqai Kulob that operates electric network in Khatlon’s Kulob zone, except the city of Kulob and the Danghara district.
