KHUJAD, January 19, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Istaravshan-based water bottling plant, closed joint-stock company (CJSC) Obi-Zulol, plans to expand the range of goods it produces.
According to the company administration, they intend to organize production and packing of pasteurized milk and tomato paste.
“In 2009, the enterprise produced a total of 61,460,726 somoni worth of goods, which is 13,381,691 somoni more than in 2008,” the source said.
Last year, Obi Zulol paid taxes for 17,598,843 somoni, which is 80 percent of the overall volume of budget receipts in the Istaravshan district, he added, noting that 307 people now work for the company at an average monthly wage of 1,000 somoni.
The Obi-Zulol administration noted that the company has bought shares in Roghun for 1.3 million somoni to this day.
Obi–Zulol is a fully operational bottled water and soft drinks producer located in the Sughd province. The plant was built by SASIB Beverages in 1999-2000.
