DUSHANBE, January 26, 2010, Asia-Plus -- More than 22 entrepreneurs now work in Tajikistan, Nusratullo Davlatov, head of the Tax Committee under the Government of Tajikistan, remarked at a news conference in Dushanbe on January 25.
According to him, 68 outlets for the implementation of “One-stop-shop” (OSS) principle have been opened across the country to this day. “There are 22,700 entrepreneurs in Tajikistan, with nearly half of them having already been reregistered under the OSS principle,” Davlatov said.
He noted that the registration process for Tajik entrepreneurs had taken from 30 to 50 days before the introduction of the OSS principle, while the registration system under the OSS principle allowed it to reduce this period up to 5 working days.
