DUSHANBE, January 29, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi met with U.K. Foreign Office Minister Chris Bryant in London yesterday on sidelines of the International Conference on Afghanistan.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, the two discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Great Britain.
In the course of the talks, Tajik minister underlined the importance of investment in construction of hydropower plant at the Tajik-Afghan border, use of water resources in the region, construction of rail links connecting Tajikistan and Afghanistan and power transmission lines and gas pipelines, the MFA information department said.
