DUSHANBE, February 2, 2010, Asia-Plus -- The Coordination Council of Business Associations of Tajikistan (Council) plans to apply to the Government with proposal to award the most active entrepreneurs, who have made considerable contributions to the construction of the Roghun HPP, the Council head Nekroui Zabirov said in an interview with Asia-Plus.
According to him, such a decision was adopted at the council meeting that took place in Dushanbe at the end of last week.
Besides, Zafar Hotamov, head of the Secretariat of the Consultative Council for Improvement of Investment Climate under the President of Tajikistan, proposed to sign a memorandum of cooperation between the Coordination Council of Business Associations and the Consultative Council for Improvement of Investment, Zabirov said.
Speaking at the meeting, Hotamov suggested that a working group, comprising representatives from the Coordination Council as well as local and international experts, should be set up at the Consultative Council for Improvement of Investment Climate.
Zabirov noted that the Coordination Council had elected 8 candidates to represent the Council at the Consultative Council for Improvement of Investment Climate.
