DUSHANBE, February 4, 2010, Asia-Plus -- 59 investment projects for a total of 8.1 billion somoni are currently being implemented in Tajikistan, according to the State Committee for Investment and State-owned Property Management (GosKomInvest).
The investment portfolio covers 16 different sectors of the country’s economy and loans account for 75.3 percent of the country’s investment portfolio. Gants account for 14.3 percent, government’s share accounts for 6.9 percent and communities’ share accounts for 3/5 percent.
The source at GosKomInvest added that a total amount of investments implemented in the country last year was 1.5 billion somoni.
