DUSHANBE, February 9, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Chairman of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Sharif Said, yesterday met here with Pakistani businessman Haji Mohammad Nahim Valizade, according to the CCI press service.
The sides discussed a broad range of issues related to expansion of trade and economic cooperation between Tajik companies and their Pakistani partners and launch of joint ventures.
Mr. Valizade’s company is in the business of carpet weaving and Tajik CCI head offered Mr Valizade to consider the possibility of organizing training courses for Tajik specialists on hand-knotted carpet weaving.
This will promote creation of new jobs in Tajikistan and CCI will provide assistance with implementation of this project, Sharif Said noted.
