KHOROG, February 17, 2010, Asia-Plus -- By February 16, residents of Gorno Badakhshan have bought shares in open joint-stock company (OJSC) NBO Roghun for more than 8 million somoni, Azizsho Gharibshoyev, head of the main branch of Amonatbonk (Tajikistan’s savings bank) in Khorog, told Asia-Plus today.
According to him, more than 7.5 million somoni have been collected in the region through Amonatbonk’s branches alone.
Besides, 132,000 somoni worth of shares have been sold through the branches of Tojik Sodirot Bonk (TSB), 366,000 somoni worth of shares have been sold through the branches of Orienbonk and 79,000 somoni worth of shares have been sold through the branches of Agroinvestbonk.
