KULOB, March 3, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Orzu Hasanov, the founder of the Kulob newspaper Pazhvok , who ran for election to the Kulob local legislature as self-propelled candidate, has filed suit in the Kulob city court, asking to review the results of elections at polling station # 32.
Hasanov told Asia-Plus today that numerous violations, including disorganization and procedural irregularities in the counting phase, were registered at the polling station on election day. According him, they did not allow his observer working normally.
“Moreover, exit poll results and official election results diverge like heaven and earth,” Hasanov said.
