DUSHANBE, March 4, 2010, Asia-Plus -- The All-Russian Public Commission for Combating Corruption, has opened its representative office in Dushanbe.
A ceremony of an official opening of the office took place at Tajikistan Hotel on March 3.
According to Vladimir Mamayev, head of the Public Commission for Combating Corruption, said that Tajikistan is the 14th country, where their organization opened its representative office. “Our office in Dushanbe will closely cooperate with Tajik relevant agencies in combating corruption,” said Mamayev, “The office will launch hotline and professional lawyers will work with the office to receive citizens.”
The organization’s representative office in Dushanbe was registered with the Ministry of Justice of Tajikistan on January 14, 2010 and it is headed by Aliakbar Abdulloyev.
Founded on May 14, 2004, the All-Russian Public Commission for Combating Corruption now has it offices in 76 regions of the Russian Federation. It is expected to be given a status of international organization by the end of this year.
