DUSHANBE, March 16, 2010, Asia-Plus -- The first international industrial and trade exhibition is opening in Dushanbe today.
The exhibition that runs through March 18 is being held at the Kokhi Borbad State Complex.
The exhibition is organized with official support from the Tajik government and ministries of energy and economy as well as diplomatic missions of Kazakhstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan in Dushanbe and Expo Central Asia.
Expo Central Asia is specialized in organizing industrial exhibitions since 2005. Ipekyolu International Exhibitions Limited, one of leading exhibition organizers in Eurasian region, organizes assorted trade only exhibitions with offices in Istanbul/Turkey and Almaty/Kazakhstan as Central Asia Exhibitions.
150 companies from 20 countries are participating in the exhibition in the Tajik capital. They have put on display their achievements in agriculture, food and light industries, etc. Tajikistan is represented by more than 20 companies and Turkey is represented by 25 companies.
The Central Asian business forum and bilateral meetings with participation of representatives of business communities from Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkey and Uzbekistan are expected to take place at the Hyatt Regency Dushanbe Hotel on sidelines of the exhibition on March 17.
