KHUJAND, March 18, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Two new ambulances have begun to run along streets in Khujand, the capital of Sughd province.
According to a reliable source, these ambulances belong to a private acute care service that has been established by one of commercial organizations of Khujand. The private acute service is reportedly based at the city central hospital.
“The ambulances are provided with modern resuscitation equipment and emergency medical supplies,” the source said, noting that an official opening of the private acute care service is expected to take place in the near future.
