DUSHANBE, April 1, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Officers from the Dushanbe police directorate seized more than 50 kilograms of narcotics in three separate operations carried out on March 31, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
The source at a MoI said that the 23-year-old D.R. was detained in Dushanbe yesterday on suspicion of having been involved in drug pushing. 27.26 kilograms of hashish were confiscated from him.
The same day, the Dushanbe police officers found 22.74 kilograms of heroin while searching house of the 55-year-old J.R. on the Surkhob Street.
Besides, the 33-year-old B.F. was detained at the Nusratullo Makhsoum Street yesterday and one kilogram of heroin was confiscated from him.
