DUSHANBE, April 1, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Uzbek Ambassador to Tajikistan Shokasim Shoislamov recently met with the administration of Dushanbe’s Botanical Gardens to define a corner for the Uzbek diplomatic mission for planting trees and flowers in the Botanical Gardens, according to the Uzbek Embassy in Dushanbe.
During the event dedicated to the Day of Tajikistan’s Constitution that took place in Dushanbe’s Botanical Gardens on November 6, 2009, President Emomali Rahmon called on chiefs of diplomatic missions and international organizations who attended the event to create an international corner in the Botanical Gardens and he ordered to allot a place for creation of the international corner, the source at the Uzbek Embassy said.
Such an international corner in the Botanical Gardens will symbolize friendship of our peoples and respect for Tajikistan, the source added.
