KHUJAND, April 19, 2010, Asia-Plus -- 91 residents of Sughd province have been deported from Russia over the first three months of this year, the Sughd transportation prosecutor Zokir Nazarov said in an interview with Asia-Plus.
According to him, the majority of them were deported for having problems with their documents. “They persuaded border control officers at the Khujand airport and railroad station to pass through border control,” Nazarov said.
In the meantime, three foreign citizens were deported from Sughd province in 2009, the Sughd transportation prosecutor added.
