DUSHANBE, April 26, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Five packages containing 4.5 kilograms of heroin were confiscated from resident of Khatlon’s Vose district, J.P., at the Maykhoura traffic police checkpoint in the Varzob district on April 24, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
The same day, Afghan national Ansasrullah Baikhan (phonetically spelled) was detained in Dushanbe with some 1 kilogram of heroin.
On Sunday April 25, ten wraps of 872 grams of heroin were found in the house of J.K. in the Konibodom district, Sughd province. His brother, D.K., was also detained n suspicion of having been involved in drug pushing and more than 3 kilograms of heroin were found in his house, the source at a MoI said.
Besides, some one kilogram of heroin was confiscated from A.F., resident of the Duousti jamoat in the Vahdat district on April 25.
