DUSHANBE, April 30, 2010, Asia-Plus -- The Drug Control Agency burned 256.339 kilograms of narcotic drugs on April 29, according to the DCA press service.
A totaled included 14.664 kilograms of heroin, 42.88 kilograms of hashish, 138 kilograms of cannabis, 9.56 kilograms of raw opium and 50.739 kilograms of other types of narcotics.
The drugs were confiscated in the course of 2009-2010 and were material evidences in 33 criminal proceedings instituted against 36 drug traffickers, the counternarcotics agency press service said.
