DUSHANBE, April 30, 2010, Asia-Plus -- The chief executive officer of the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation (IFHC), Armen Smbatyan, arrived in Dushanbe today on a two-day working visit.
The IFHC spokesman Aleksandr Kalugin has told Asia-Plus that the IFHC CEO is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov to discuss prospects of further expansion of cooperation between the IFHC and Tajikistan and participation of Tajikistan in the IFHC-sponsored projects.
During his stay in Tajikistan, Smbatyan will also meet with Minister of Education Abdujabbor Rahmonov, Minister of Culture Mirzoshorukh Asrori and the President of the Academy of Sciences Mamadsho Ilolov.
The CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation was established in 2008. An agreement on the establishment of the IFHC was singed by eight CIS member nations, including Tajikistan.
