DUSHANBE, May 5, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Russian national Nikolai Balantyev, 31, who worked as a farm laborer in the household of Saidmurod Doustov in the Hissar district, some 17 kilometers southwest of Dushanbe, was found hanged in the dwelling where he hutted on May 4, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
“According to the results of the preliminary investigation, Balantyev committed suicide by self-hanging,” said the source, “Forensic examination will establish the cause of death of the Russian national.”
He added that 15-year-old resident of the Bobojonghafurov district in Sughd province, Abdumalik Yoqubov, committed suicide by self-hanging Tuesday morning. The cause of the suicide is under investigation.
