DUSHANBE, May 14, 2010, Asia-Plus -- A business forum to discuss to role of trade with and investments from Muslim countries in supporting development of Tajikistan’s economy is being held in the Tajik government countryside residence Pugus in the Varzob district today.
Initiated by the Tajik Foreign Ministry and State Committee for Investments and State-owned Property Management (GosKomInvest), the conference is bringing together representatives from more than 40 countries to consider issues related to supporting development of trade and investment relations among the Muslim countries, Davlat Nazriyev, the head of the MFA information department said.
According to him, the business forum takes place in the framework of preparations for the 37th Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the OIC Member States that will take place in Dushanbe from May 18-20.
