KHUJAND. May 31. “Asia-Plus” -- Dead bodies of the crew of the Pamir Airways AN-24 jet which crashed in Afghanistan on May 17 reported delivered to Khujand international airport.
Dead bodies of flight instructor Alexander Demurov, flight mechanic Gulmahmad Kurbanov and flight technician Bahtier Kenjaev were delivered to Khujand on May 30 by TajikAir liner.
Mourning ceremony was held the same day and brought together representatives of the air company, regional officials, airport staff, air crews and technicians.
Dead bodies were transported to their families living in Matcha region, Bobojongafurov region and Chkalovsk city.
