KULOB. May 31. “Asia-Plus” -- The “Imdodi Umon Committee” governmental organization of Oman’s Sultanate is funding the construction of 50 new houses for disaster affected victims from Kulob. The organization also funds the construction of a medical point and reconstruction of a local house of worship which will be turned into mosque.
According to Chairman of the Dushanbe’s “Bunedkor” Association, the contractor of the project, Alijon Norbekov, all the aforementioned facilities will occupy a 10ha area allocated by the Kulob Khukumat for the Imdodi Umon Committee.
According to Norbekov, constructors have already started preparation works even though land planners are still finishing the topographic survey of separate sections. “The association has large experience in the field of qualitative and fast construction of various objects and we are confident that the construction will be finished on time,” Norbekov stressed.
