DUSHANBE. June 2. “Asia-Plus” -- According to the decree of the government of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Liquidation of Consequences of Natural Disasters of Russia is providing relief assistance to disaster affected population of Kulob area.
Yesterday, May 1, two IL-76 of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) loaded with relief assistance landed in Kulob airport, Russian Embassy in Tajikistan told the AP.
“A total of 80 tons of relief cargo worth nearly 19 mln Russian rubles was delivered to Tajikistan. The assistance includes 20 tons of tinned meat, 19 tons of tinned fish and 110 “Pamir-30” summer tents and 4 mobile electric stations,” the source reported.
