DUSHANBE. June 4. “Asia-Plus” -- Over 819m Somoni (more than $187.4m) reported transferred from the account of the Rogun hydroelectric power plant from the sale of shares and certificates of Rogun HPP joint stock company as of June 1, 2010, Tajik Ministry of Finance reported.
In particular, over 34.1m Somoni transferred from the account of Amonatbonk state saving bank, nearly 155m Somoni from Orienbonk public corporation, more than 118m Somoni from Agroinvestbonk, 11.1m Somoni from Tajikprombank, 20.2m Somoni from Tojiksodirotbonk, over 2.7m Somoni from the Tajikistan Development Bank, 3.2m Somoni from Fononbank, more than 4.2m Somoni from Eskhata Bank and over 470.3m Somoni from Tajik Finance Ministry’s Treasury, the source has said.
Rogun shares worth nearly $1.37b were issued in Tajikistan on January 6. Funds are being accumulated on the accounts opened in eight banks of the country. A total of 800 offices to sale share were opened in the country.
