DUSHANBE. June 9. “Asia-Plus” -- President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is expected to arrive in Dushanbe tonight, Tajik Foreign Ministry told the AP.
In the course of his official visit, Iranian President will meet with Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon and will take part in the International conference on medium-term comprehensive overview of the implementation of the International Decade for Action “Water for Life” for 2005-2015, the source has said.
On Wednesday night visiting Iranian President is scheduled to meet with representatives of intelligentsia at the Dushanbe Youth Palace.
Iranian President is expected to visit Uzbekistan to meet with heads of SCO member states on June 10-11. Iran as well as Afghanistan, Pakistan and Mongolia has the status of observer within the given organization.
