Dushanbe. June 16. “Asia-Plus” -- Tajik State National Security Committee wants to receive official confirmation and evidence of participation of Tajik citizens in mass disorders that are taking place in southern part of Kyrgyzstan.
“If there are no evidences we would like to hear official apologies through the media,” head of the Tajik SNSC, colonel general, Hairiddin Abdurahimov spoke today in Dushanbe.
Speaking at a regular session top Tajik security official said that yesterday a corresponding request was sent to Uzbek and Kyrgyz National Security Services.
He also told deputies that Tajikistan has strengthened its territories which border Osh district of Kyrgyzstan in Murgab and Jirgatal regions to prevent penetration of undesirable elements to Tajikistan.
According to him, no refugees from the neighboring state were registered in Tajikistan as yet.
Additionally, Tajik special services have managed to evacuate 175 Tajik students from Kyrgyzstan. “They are mainly residents of Murgab and Jirgatal. Today we are planning to evacuate the rest 70 students,” he said.
