DUSHANBE, June 29, 2010, Asia-Plus -- The construction of a new building of the National Museum named after Kamoliddin Behzod has begun in Dushanbe.
Kholboy Saidov, the deputy head of the directorate for construction of government facilities within the President’s Executive Office, told Asia-Plus today that the new building of the museum is being constructed in the place of the Barakat bazaar in the center of Dushanbe. According to him, the building is being constructed with help of Chinese specialists.
Saidov added that the construction of a new nine-story building of the National Public Library named after Abulqosim Firdavsi was progressing. “This building is also being constructed with help of Chinese specialists,” Tajik official said.
Both facilities are expected to be finished in August 2011.
