KHUJAND, July 3, 2010, Asia-Plus -- By president’s order a humanitarian aid has been provided to vulnerable families in a number of cities and districts in the northern Sughd province.
On July 2, the assistance including foodstuffs (vegetable oil, wheat flour, rice, sugar and other food products) was distributed to 352 residents of the city of Istaravshan as well as 102 residents of Ayni district and 55 residents of Kuhistoni Mastchoh district, the Sughd administration press service said.
Besides, school furniture and 10 computers were distributed to a number of schools in Ayni and Kuhistoni Mastchoh districts on occasion of the Year Education and Technical Culture in Tajikistan.
