DUSHANBE, July 5, 2010, Asia-Plus -- On Monday July 5, President Emomali Rahmon held talks with Kyrgyzstan’s Interim President, Ms. Roza Otunbayeva, in the Kazakh capital Astana on sidelines of a session of the Interstate Council of the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC).
According to the Kyrgyzstan’s interim government press service, Emomali Rahmon congratulated Roza Otunbayeva on the successful holding of referendum and wished peace and wellbeing to the people of Kyrgyzstan.
In the course of the talks, the sides also discussed ways of further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan and exchanged views on a number of international and regional issues being of mutual interest.
