DUSHANBE, July 6, 2010, Asia-Plus  -- The Board of Directors of Tajik private air carrier, Somon Air, has appointed Firouz Ishonqulov, formerly deputy director general of Somon Air, acting director general of Somon Air, according to the Somon Air press service.

Ishonqulov replaced Muzaffar Ishoqov in this position.

Born in 1958, Firouz Ishonqulov has two higher educations: pilot and economist.  From 1978 to 2009, he worked with the national air carrier, Tajik Air.
