KHUJAND, July 7, 2010, Asia-Plus -- An enterprise for producing energy-saving light bulb, Somon, has been launched in the city of Chkalovsk, Sughd province.
The Somon head Abdurahim Ismoilov told Asia-Plus that equipment for producing the energy-saving light bulbs had been purchased in China and all spare parts would be delivered from China in the future.
“Twelve Chinese specialists have arrived in Sughd to install the equipment,” said Ismoilov, “70 people will work with the enterprise.”
The authorized capital stock of the enterprise is 1.5 million U.S. dollars. The enterprise will have the capacity of producing up to 2 million energy-saving light bulbs per year, Ismoilov added.
