KHUJAND, July 7, 2010, Asia-Plus  -- The national development program support group has decided to conduct a survey of living standard in Tajikistan.

Representative of the Association of Scientific and Technical Intelligentsia of Tajikistan in Khujand told Asia-Plus that the group made up of representatives from 20 local NGOs will survey 450 families in various regions of the country.

“During two years, they will study opportunities of these families to solve their problems and will monitor the reduction of level of poverty in the country,” said the source, “The survey will study families’ access to foodstuffs, medical service, education, etc.”
